The villa itself is well-finished with pretty much everything you could need, even down to four sets of cutlery, an ice-cream maker and sky on-demand movies.

“Wonderful Stay At An Amazing Villa”
We had a wonderful stay at Villa Louise during our week in Italy. The Villa is great with all the expected amenities (several big bedrooms + bathrooms, great kitchen, pool etc) and with an absolutely AMAZING garden! Villa Louise is an hour and a half away from Fiumicino Airport...which is not too bad considering that we were travelling with our 16 month old twins. Once we got off the main highway driving towards Spoleto and Villa Louise, the drive was so scenic with green trees everywhere. Living in the Middle East one really appreciates the abundance of natural greenery and clean fresh air. We turned onto Casenove drive, and were pleasantly surprised to see 5 beautiful horses grazing in a small pasture...the girls loved it! We drove about a kilometer down the road and lo and behold...the little gem Villa Louise! A beautiful villa with a garden just bursting with an array of colors. We were met by Katia who warmly welcomed us and showed us the facilities. We were given a welcome basket of fresh eggs from the hens on the property, a bottle of locally pressed olive oil, a bottle of white wine, Prosciutto, fresh bread and bags of cookies! The cozy kitchen has all your appliances you can think of....as well plastic ware for children...which came in so handy! Management and staff had thought of everything when they knew we were arriving with 2 toddlers. Two feeding chairs were placed in the dining room, two baby cots set up with with the softest bedding, as well as stuffed toys for them to play with. This has never happened at any of the other hotels/ agriturismo places that we have stayed in previously. Fantastic attention to detail all round. The interior is so tastefully decorated, you feel as though you have stepped onto the set of Home and Garden Magazine. There’s a fireplace in the living room, as well as a piano. Hubby and girls had a blast playing. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are so comfortable. Listen out for the nightingales....what a special moment it was for me to hear them as I had never heard nightingales sing before 🙂 We spent a lot of time in the garden, just enjoying being outdoors. The gardens are so beautiful and you can tell that Nicola is a really passionate gardener. We didn’t get to use the pool as it was a little cold for the children, but next time for sure we will book in the summer time. I used fresh herbs from the gardens to cook and every morning we received fresh eggs . The resident cats are super friendly and my girls loved playing with them. The villa has all the amenities you can think of such as washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and board, hair dryer etc. It is also close to other villages like Spello, Spoleto, Assisi, Trevi. Elisa, the manager, was super nice and was always available to assist. The entire staff at Villa Louise were just amazing I would go back in a heart beat! Thanks Louise, this was just what my family and I needed!

My family (two adults and two young children) had an incredibly comfortable and relaxing two weeks at Villa Louise. The Villa and its gardens and olive groves are down a dirt track giving a feeling of seclusion and providing undisturbed views of the hills all around you. We visited in May/June as many of the trees and flowers which surround the house were coming into bloom and there was birdsong throughout the day and night. Our host, Elisa, was helpful well beyond our expectations. She was always readily available to answer our questions, help make arrangements and provide unexpected gifts and support. On most days the gardener, Nicola, came in the morning to tend the garden and animals (chickens, ducks and cats) and clean the pool. He was very nice, not obtrusive and provided a steady supply of flowers, eggs and vegetables from the garden. This was our first trip to this area and Villa Louise was a perfect base for exploring Southern Umbria and especially having easy access to Spoleto. We greatly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning again and again.

Villa Louise is a little piece of heaven that we are so pleased to have found and so privileged to have spent a week living there. We were travelling between city breaks in Rome and Bologna and had planned a retreat to relax and recharge. Online reviews suggested Villa Louise was a special place. It exceeded all our expectations. The only downside was being so sad to leave, but we did so with big smiles and many happy memories. The property manager Elisa was superb. Elisa is very friendly and happy to help with any query. She is eager to share her knowledge of this beautiful corner of Italy, as well as sharing the local yummy gelato and pastries. Gardener Nicola provided fresh vegetables and eggs every morning all sourced from the property, as well ensuring the pool was in perfect condition. Elisa and Nicola are a great team and a real asset to the villa. A lovely memory was watching a mother wild boar and her five piglets take an early morning stroll across the fields on the opposite side of the valley. We also enjoyed the rich night skies following a barbeque and glass of local wine or a beer from local craft ale brewery Caber beer. The pool and villa facilities speak for themselves and were all well appreciated by us. For the more energetic Villa Louise has mountain bikes for hire and I can recommend riding the mountain tracks and tops visible from the villa (these start from Ocenelli, Tarzo San Severo and Montemartano). The Villa is truly amazing. Spacious, very clean, very well furnished and with high level facilities. The garden is fantastic, also very well kept. There is also a small children playground!! The outdoor veranda allows eating outside (also with other guests) with a peaceful and stunning view. The location is also beautiful, surrounded by olive trees and allows absolute privacy. It is about 15min by car from Spoleto and close to other smaller villages. Unfortunately the swimming pool was not available, however April is normally not the right season for that. The manager Elisa has been extremely kind, professional and helpful. She can recommend all the best place to visit, including restaurants, wine cellars and other activities. In few words ....highly recommended!!

Wonderful experience
The Villa is magnificent, and the attention awarded to us was fantastic. Spacious rooms, great beds, excellent running water, splendid location. Not easy to get to, but that’s the price you pay for absolute privacy in a paradisiac setting. Getting a full basket every morning with fresh vegetables and eggs produced at the property was a wonderful bonus. Spoleto, Trevi, and lots of nearby ancient towns, with excellent restaurants, made it a perfect trip. Elisa, the host, was most attentive to all our needs. I highly recommend this property. In August 2018 we stayed in this beautiful house with our 4 children. We enjoyed our time very much and really loved the spacious and beautifully decorated house. A nice swimming pool with 6 beds to really enjoy the sunshine and relax. We were nicely surprised by fresh eggs, vegetables and fruits by the gardener which came by in the mornings to work de huge and nicely arranged garden. Furthermore the The host did her utmost best to comfort us and quickly responded to any issues (there were some thunderstorms and winds that caused some damage). She brought us some Italian breakfast and beers which was a real treat. I'm glad we booked an will definitely return in the future! Highly recommend!

Lovely Louise
We made our way gently along the narrow track to the electric gates that slowly opened and welcomed us to the tranquil and beautiful Villa Louise. We were welcomed at the top of the lavender scented drive by the lovely and super efficient Elisa who explained everything we needed to know and happily catered for our every need thereafter. Louise, is beautifully positioned and offers the very best of Umbrian country living with sculpted gardens, professionally cared for by the gardener who made sure we were very kindly gifted home growen fruits, veg and eggs from the resident hens every day, with a gorgeous pool and living space both which we made very good use of. Even though the weather was unseasonally warm, the new air conditioning system in the bedrooms and water cooler provided kept us cool and comfortable to enjoy an amazing five days.

Villa Louise is Old Italian charm at it's best! Bravo! Encore!
We drove from London, through France, through Switzerland, through Alps, through Genoa, through Tuscany and finally arrived in this amazing villa near Spoleto, Umbria. For just over a week this charming villa was our sanctuary from a busy world. I was constantly amazed at the natural beauty, the peace and tranquility that surrounded us. You had to work hard to hear anything other than bird song! Each morning we were greeted by a basket of fresh produce from the gardens, freshly laid eggs from the hens and happily lots of sun! Elisa efficiently manages the villa and met us when we arrived with a life saving selection of treats; local wine, pasta, bread, milk and cheese! We opted for Cats in Residence and found as the week went by that we all became very fond of them. The house is very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is generously stocked with herbs and spices, teas and coffee! The swimming pool was managed by their Gardener, Nicola, who kept it beautifully clean whilst tending to the gardens. It was hard to find a leaf out of place! We attended a wedding at Abbazia San Pietro in Valle and the chapel and abbey are definitely worth a visit and have to be seen as it sits in the awesome surroundings of magnificent tree covered hills. We had drinks at Bar La Portella which is located at the top of Spoleto's old town, next to the medieval aqueduct, the Ponte delle Torrie and Spoleto's castle. The views were wonderful, especially as the sun was setting. We drove through wonderful towns and villages and lunched in Montefalco and other hillside towns. All in all, it was a fabulous week. It is a great area for walking, cycling and simply luxuriating in all the delights of Umbria. We will visit again! Just some more words of praise for Elisa... we enjoyed a whole morning of Italian conversation together and she is delightful company. She introduced us to some very special Italian beer that certainly hits the spot on hot afternoons and arranged for us to take a couple of cases home with us. And in our hour of need, when Bridesmaid's speeches had to be unexpectedly printed out, Elisa had the job sorted with print outs and copies placed in our hands within 30 minutes! Elisa is a joy! You will not be disappointed with your choice in Villa Louise. It is Old Italian charm at its best!

"Amazing Villa"
After spending 4 hectic days in Rome with my friend, we have taken a train (an hour and 20 min) and travelled to Ubria, Spoleto to an amazing Villa Louise. Quite and calm atmosphere and an amazing hospitality, we felt like home immediately! The location is stunning with breathtaking view, absolutely idyllic! We stayed there for 5 nights and loved every second of it! The manager went over and above to accommodate and assist on our stay there. Beautiful villa with great amenities,immaculately cleaned, fabulously furnished , very comfortable beds and you feel like you sleep on the cloud. The other wonderful thing about the villa is Elisa, who looks after the villa and its guests. Nothing was too much trouble and she ensured either she or the gardener left fresh vegetables and eggs every morning for us. Elisa also came with us to Spoleto train station to book tickets for a day trip to Rome and gave us advice on places to visit. All in all it was a wonderful holiday.

"Absolutely Gorgeous Villa Near Spoleto, Italy"
This is an absolutely gorgeous villa located near Spoleto. You can get to Mantefalco easily, as well as you are on the Sagrantino road with many wineries to enjoy. The house has many amenities, including a garden with a selection of vegetables, a pool, and mountain bikes to rent, plus helmets. The propery manager, Elisa, was very helpful in answering texts quickly, suggesting restaurants and making reservations for whatever thing you desire. Stay at Villa Louise, you will not be disappointed.

But woning the ligt iets wat achteraf, you bereiken via een lange privé weg die leidt tot een automatisch bedienbaar hek. We had a wonderful week in Villa Louise. A very nice house that is fully equipped. Also the cats present Nala and Patricia made it very nice. Despite my light allergy to cats, we found them too fun to do in a separate room (which is also possible). I certainly did not suffer from it. The guidance and contact in advance with manager Elisa was really nice. On the day of arrival she ordered pizzas for us so that we could eat and rest on the beautiful terrace of the villa at 20 o'clock. She also gave good tips and advice. You could and should ask her anything. And via whatsapp that went very easy. We felt right at home there. More deliciously swimming in the beautiful pool of the villa and to several beautiful places (Spello, Assisi, Peruga, Marmore waterfall). In short, beautiful house, beautiful surroundings and good guidance so you can really relax!

What a Beautiful Villa
What a beautiful villa and what a beautiful garden that surrounds it. The flowers and plants are very well maintained. Every day there is a gardener to realize this but here you have no inconvenience. The soil is so large that you can not even see it. The hospitality is unprecedented. The manager Elise is always ready for you if necessary. The villa is secluded and about 20 minutes drive from a large supermarket. There is no small bakery in the neighborhood. For us this was not necessary. We were 3 small children and we had more than enough on the ground, vegetable garden, playground and of course the pool. We strongly recommend this villa!”

Villa Louise was perfect for our two families with 4 small children (0, 2, 5 and 7 years old). Villa is located in very private surrounding, and had lovely little farm attached to it. Kids (and also the parents) loved the beautiful garden full of flowers, and with plenty of space to spend time outdoors playing and swimming. Pool was always clean, and was quite suitable even for the younger kids. Pool doesn't have any "cage" surrounding it preventing the kid sto go there by them selves, but you can see the pool quite well from different angles around the house and yard. House was big enough for two families with different aged children, and the kitchen had every possible equipment you could ever imagine. Our hostess was very nice and helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. We can also strongly recommend to book the private chef to the Villa, food and service was high quality and came with proper introduction about local food. We would definently visit Villa Louise again!

August 2020 Louise and her husband have been amazing hosts. The place truly corresponds to the pictures, with a beautiful garden and an amazing pool. We've been welcome with a bottle of wine and some Italian products (pasta, sausages, fruits etc..). Moreover, the hosts introduced us to local restaurants and amenities. Every morning, we used to find some fresh products from their garden and some pastry for breakfast. There was also a couple of well-behaved cats that kept us company. Way more than we expected. In particular, we appreciated the attention to communication. For any concern or need, we always received a quick response. I highly recommend the place, and would probably book it again in the future.

You will not regret booking this villa, I promise you! Both the owner and manager go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome with thoughtful gestures like a box of local pastries one day, fees fruit on another. Every morning, Paolo (the gardener) leaves fresh produce and, chickens willing, fresh eggs for the guests. Elisa, the manager, cannot do enough to ensure that everything is as it should be. We had a flat tire and I reached out to her for suggestions on where to go but instead of just telling me she insisted on coming over to the villa and going with me to get the tire repaired. The setting is idyllic and the region is absolutely beautiful. The Centro Storico of Spoleto is fantastic and well worth a visit. Elisa organized a rafting trip near Norcia,l which was great fun and a visit to a Montefalco vineyard which was incredible. Can not recommend Umbria and Villa Louise enough. Treat yourself and book it... trust me!

September 2019 If I could give 6 stars I would. Villa Louise is absolutely magical. The owner Louise is incredibly thoughtful: she met us at the train station and took us to our car rental then did our shopping for us while we had a superb lunch at the Tuber Experience restaurant. Everything has been thought of at the Villa. Great for children and families. Every day we had fresh vegetables from the garden and eggs from the hens. The pool was very popular and the outdoor dining was enchanting. The Villa is a great base from which to explore the nearby towns: Montefalco, Assisi, Spello. We were sorry to leave. We can recommend Villa Louise without reservation.
07/20/2019 until 07/29/2019 A more cordial reception by the owner of the house is unthinkable. also during the stay the owner and the gardener surprised daily with fresh fruit, vegetables and eggs from the garden. Reservations for restaurant? Louise arranges it. The house itself is an oasis of peace. After a ride of 2 kilometers on a (easy to drive) unpaved path you stand in front of the fence. When this opens you feel immediately at home. Everywhere beautiful seats, a children's play area, a wonderful veranda and perfect beds by the pool. Inside everything is taken care of to perfection. Do you like cooking? the kitchen is fully equipped and kitchen appliances very complete. Good wine glasses (that sometimes misses). A good working bbq \/ smoking oven and a large wood pizza oven. The area is beautiful, Spoleto is nearby, numerous small villages with ditto restaurants. in short, a glory!

09/20/2019 until 09/22/2019 We drove about 1 kilometer down a dirt road which open up to the most spectacular villa located on the side of a hill. When the gate opened waiting for us was the owner with a bottle of wine ready to explain everything and hand us the keys to this fantastic place. The pictures did not do it justice.
07/25/2020 until 08/08/2020 After a long drive, we were welcomed in peace by the owners. Louise and Flam did everything to make us feel comfortable as soon as possible. We were therefore welcomed with a welcome basket and lasagne to enjoy immediately (always handy after such a ride). The house and garden are very well maintained and are always well looked after during the stay. There is a daily basket of vegetables ready and if we wished we could get even more out of the vegetable garden. Not too much for the owners and when we had the idea of doing a day trip to Rome, nothing was too much for them to give us an unforgettable day. The tips they gave things to visit were nothing short of fantastic! An unforgettable holiday in a beautiful house and beautiful surroundings.
09/04/2020 until 09/13/2020 We arrived after a long drive from Belgium and the villa did not disappoint when we first laid eyes on it. The owners are so lovely, we got a welcoming basket with typical Italian food and fresh tomatoes from the garden. Unfortunately the owners were not there to greet us but they made sure to keep contact via whatsapp to see if everything was to our liking. They also helped us make bookings for activities where the language barrier was a problem. The villa is surrounded by beautiful gardens. The interior from the villa is very cozy and has everything you need to live there. Every morning the gardener delivered fresh eggs and tomatoes which was very much appreciated. Thank you again to the owners.
Aug 22, 2020 Immersa nella campagna umbra è una bella casa, con tutto l'occorrente e qualche accortezza in più da parte dei proprietari che ogni mattina lasciavano in veranda uova fresche, verdure, birra e qualche volta cornetti al cioccolato per la colazione. La piscina ad uso esclusivo ottima per i momenti di relax.

Zeer goede uitvalsbasis voor prachtige steden zoals Spoleto en Assisi. Met dank aan de eigenaren Louise en Flaminio voor de professionaliteit, persoonlijke aandacht, de goede zorgen en adviezen rond restaurants en bezienswaardigheden. Niets is jullie te veel. Veel dank dat we in jullie prachtige huis mochten verblijven en de gastvrijheid. Wij zouden dan ook erg graag terugkomen! Kan eigenlijk niets bedenken. De villa voldeed aan alle verwachting.
